Cultural Art
LI: To create a piece of cultural art
Inspired by art creations by Raku Inoue we went outside and collected leaves, twigs, and other plant debris to create our own cultural pattern or symbol.
Hi Moti I absolutely love this DLO and you have taught me something. I have seen the sisi before in cultural performances but I did not know what they were called. I would love you to teach me how to join the leaves together. Remember when you are writing you need to use formal language, 'kinda' needs to be written as 'kind of'. Well done for keeping your learning going. Mrs Anderson
Hi Moti Wow what a creative idea to collect and use leaves to make a sisi. Your DLO was informative and explained what a sisi is used for and that both men and women wear them. I have also seen the sisi being worn but didn't know that was what they were called. Great work
